Fundraiser
2026 Boston Marathon

$0 of $10,000 raised

In 2026, I am honored to run the Boston Marathon on behalf of a compelling cause: the Thomas M. Brennan Memorial Foundation.

This race is a tribute to a very special person and classmate, Tom “Beezo” Brennan, whom we lost far too young on September 11, 2001, twenty-five years ago this Fall. Tom was a deeply caring, generous, and loyal friend. He was the kind of person who showed up for others without being asked. Many of us were lucky enough to experience his kindness firsthand, and even luckier to remain part of a close-knit circle of lifelong friendships that continues to support one another decades later.

Through the Thomas M. Brennan Memorial Foundation, Tom’s family and former roommates have disbursed $1.6mm to 57 Boston College students in need; each year, four additional scholars are added to the program. The Foundation’s commitment to service, community, and mental health is extraordinary – and it’s a privilege to carry that mission forward, one mile at a time.

As the class of ‘91 approaches our 35th Boston College reunion, this run feels like a full-circle moment. It’s a way to celebrate the gift of life, the lifelong friendships forged at BC, and my own 35-year journey as a marathon runner, right where it all began. And it will be my 34th marathon, edging me closer to my goal of running 70 marathons by the age of 70!

Running this race is my way of honoring Tom, the Foundation, and the enduring power of friendship, purpose, and hope. Thank you for your support!!
